Barbara Hall – Jersey Shore, PA

I have had MS for approximately 35 years. I am one of those people who if I tell someone I have MS they say “oh, but you look so good!”. I even get odd and uninformed comments from the medical community. So I have elected not to tell most people. I have recently joined an MS Board of Directors in my community and have discovered that I am not alone in not disclosing this. It reaffirms my belief that MS is a very misunderstood disease.

My interest in art started many years ago in college. Art was set aside until a couple of years ago when I saw this MS Showcase. I have recently started painting lessons and am thoroughly enjoying it. I started in regular oils and have switched to water based oils which I love. It looks like I will continue this hobby indefinitely!
