I’ve always been interested in art since childhood.
I hold an Associate of Arts Degree from MATC-Milwaukee (1991)
After being diagnosed with MS in 1999, I began taking watercolor classes.Painting is great cognitive therapy for me & I feel painting keeps my fine motor skills & hand/eye coordination from declining further.
I donate a commemorative painting to the ChallengeWalkMS silent auction. each year since 2008. I will be walking in my 5th ChallengeWalkMS in Sept. 2012. The paintings I am submitting reflect on the way my life has changed since I became involved with this 3 day, 50 mile walk in Door County, WI.
My goal is to grow as an artist & as a Volunteer Community Ambassador for people living with multiple sclerosis.
I enjoy & am inspired by God’s beauty in nature. I continue to enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and biking. I have lived in Watertown for over 13 years.
