Patricia Sammons – Fallon, NV
Patricia has been influenced in her work by the open sky and vast landscapes of the West. She attended San Diego Design Institute; owned and operated her own design business in San Diego; and studied fine art whilst attending Palomar Community College in San Diego.
Patricia and her husband Patrick visited the Flathead Valley in 1993 and moved from San Francisco, California to Whitefish, Montana in 1996. They spent as much time as possible in the spectacular surroundings of Montana, particularly Glacier National Park.
In May of 2005, Patricia and Patrick moved to Fallon, Nevada where they presently reside, experiencing the beauty of the Sierra-Nevada Mountains, the Ruby Mountains, and the areas surrounding Lake Tahoe, Reno, Austin and Fallon.
“The minimalist impressionist style of my painting draws the viewer in and wakens their imagination.” Patricia’s work is in private collections in the United States and Canada.
