Gretchen Miller – Lakewood, OH

Gretchen M. Miller is a Registered Board Certified Licensed Professional Art Therapist residing in Northeast Ohio, United States. She is also an art therapy educator, regional, national, and international speaker, workshop facilitator, author, supervisor, and community organizer. Gretchen was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2002, not too long after beginning her professional career. As an artist, Gretchen enjoys finding artful inspiration, creating positive energy, and discovering transformation by working in mixed media, collage, hand papermaking, digital media, and altered art, as well as organizing and participating in global art exchanges and creative collaborations on and offline. She believes in and values the power of art expression as a visual voice to communicate human experience. Gretchen engages in her own artmaking as a form of coping, reflection, and to help empower sharing her experiences, thoughts, and emotions.
