Webinar – Promoting Sleep Health: Practical Applications for People with Multiple Sclerosis

Join MSAA and Dr. Catherine (Katie) Siengsukon for this webinar focusing on the critical role of sleep health in the management of multiple sclerosis (MS). Participants will explore how to recognize common sleep disorders in people with MS, including the impact these disorders have on overall health and quality of life. The program will also highlight evidence-based behavioral interventions that can improve sleep and reduce fatigue in individuals living with MS. Additionally, attendees will gain practical knowledge of sleep promotion strategies specifically tailored for the MS community, aimed at enhancing both sleep quality and fatigue management.
About the Presenter
Catherine (Katie) Siengsukon, PT, PhD, DBSM, CHWC is a professor and director of research in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training. She also serves as the Director of the Sleep, Health, & Wellness (SleepWell) Laboratory at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is certified in behavioral sleep medicine. Her work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health and other national organizations.
