MSAA’s Resources and Programs Receive Digital Health Awards
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is pleased to announce that we are the recipients of three awards from the 2023 Digital Health Awards®! Digital Health Awards has honored the best digital health resources developed for consumers and health professionals for 25 years. Their panel of professionals in the consumer health fields examine entries based on content, format, success in reaching the targeted health audience, and overall quality. We are honored to have had our resources highlighted by Digital Health Awards for several years.
We are proud to announce that we have received a Merit Award for MSAA’s Ultimate MS Treatment Guide. This comprehensive digital tool compares the different FDA-approved MS treatments and includes medical expert and patient advocate discussions so that individuals are able to make informed decisions, in conjunction with their physician, based on their specific needs.
MSAA’s 2023-2024 Art Showcase initiative received a Merit Award in the Web-based Digital Health category. This program highlights wonderful works of art created by individuals with multiple sclerosis across the United States. Some of the mediums included are watercolor, paint, drawings, photography, and more! MSAA’s Art Showcase runs annually, allowing artists to participate and submit their pieces every year.
Additionally, MSAA’s COVID-19 Vaccines and MS video series has been presented with a Silver Award by Digital Health Awards. This video series includes a number of educational clips highlighting the effect of COVID-19 on individuals with MS, the importance of getting vaccinated, insight into the impact of COVID-19 on the African American community, as well as videos in Spanish.
