Raymond Schnell – Levittown, NY
I’m Raymond Schnell and I live with multiple sclerosis. After nearly thirteen years, I was finally diagnosed in September 2018. I will soon be 56 years old. My early symptoms started out with mild mobility issues which have since progressed. Other symptoms were/are numbness and tingling along with leg spasms. Unfortunately, I never bothered to get myself examined. Over time, mobility issues became more pronounced while new symptoms arrived and progressed.
It was in 2002 when my wife and I went to my mother’s then summer home that I broke my foot and finally agreed it was time to get examined. After thirteen years and four neurologists, I was finally diagnosed by Dr. Mark Gudesbladt. I since then continue to battle MS with the loving support of family and friends, for which I am forever grateful.
