Tourmaline – Jacksonville, FL

Artistically, I go by Tourmaline – semi precious in a wide variety of colors. I was diagnosed with MS in 2020 but began my art journey many years before. My MS diagnosis, and the symptoms that go with, has encouraged me, even more so, to focus my art on mental and physical health. My own journey is reflected in each photograph, and I hope others can find themselves within these emotion-filled settings. I create images using staged settings of toys and miniatures, allowing me to completely manipulate the scene in front of my camera.
