Lynn Cleare Goldman – Kamuela, HI

As an artist and art teacher I have worked in a variety of media throughout my lifetime.  My diagnosis of MS came as a result of symptoms that at once caused me to reduce my workload to PT and eventually forced my retirement.

My work consists of small plaques known as Emas like those hung in Shinto shrines to ask for good luck and other personal requests. They are made of wood and all handmade papers, international stamps, chops (physical stamps used to mark work) and parts of an aged scroll.
