Before a speed bump better known as MS changed my life, I had worked as a portrait photographer. When I returned to photography, I took a few classes to brush up on today’s technology of digital imaging. My professional training was in film.
Today’s technology has given me a path of therapy creating with graphics. I haven’t found one genre I prefer to concentrate in, though infrared photography has become a passion of mine. It is through my lens I capture visions that portray uniqueness in a different spectrum of light, the unseen surreal spectrum of infrared. The “surreal” sense of infrared imagery feels as surreal as my diagnosis of MS. In celebration of MS Awareness, I created this work in orange hues. Regardless of my subject, I find passion for my subject matter, beauty and serenity in all my visions creating my art.
