MSAA Receives Recognition and an Award for MS Conversations Blog and Changing Lives Monday to Sunday Video

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is proud to announce two exciting achievements!

MSAA’s MS Conversations blog has been included in Medical News Today’s Best Multiple Sclerosis Blogs feature. Additionally, MSAA’s Changing Lives Monday to Sunday video has been selected as a Spring 2017 Digital Health Awards winner in the Bronze category! The 19th Annual Digital Health Awards honor the world’s best digital health resources.

Recently, Medical News Today chose ten blogs from MS organizations and community members that they felt best represented the MS community by providing educational resources, first-hand stories, and emotional support. Medical News Today noted that MSAA’s MS Conversations blog works to break down physical, social, and emotional barriers in order to build hope and provide support to people living with MS. MS Conversations includes posts from guest bloggers, as well as updates on timely discussions and topics relevant to the entire MS community.

The 19th Annual Digital Health Awards recognize high-quality digital health resources for consumers as well as health professionals. The awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. The Changing Lives Monday to Sunday video launched on March 1, 2017 as a part of MSAA’s MS Awareness Month campaign. The video highlights MSAA’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of people with MS, and aims to spread awareness of the disease and the many ways that MSAA serves the MS community each and every day. The video also features three of MSAA’s clients — Cathy, Sarah, and Simone. Each client discusses the different ways MSAA has helped to improve her life via the free programs and services offered by the organization.
