Treatment Chart

How to S.E.A.R.C.H.™ for the Right MS Therapy for You!This easy-to-follow reference chart shows those medications that have been approved by the FDA and are available for the long-term treatment of relapsing forms of MS. This chart does not address the issues of efficacy, safety, and risk.

All of these disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) for MS have different benefits and risks. The effectiveness and side effects of each medication may vary from one person to another. Additionally, individuals who do not respond well to one DMT may benefit by switching to a different treatment.

Individuals need to consult with their healthcare team to determine which treatment might be the best option for them. For additional information on the specific treatments, administration, and side effects, please refer to Appendix #2.
