Sam Martino – Riverton, NJ

In 2009, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and it put an end to my 27 year career in healthcare. Though I am unable to work, I can sit and paint and explore my love of art. Multiple Sclerosis has taught me that I am stronger than I knew, and more resilient than I imagined.

Recently, one of my paintings was featured at Perkins Center for the Arts exhibition. This further encouraged my desire to paint and take my artwork to the level of shows and galleries.

My hope is that by being a person with MS, and creating art, I am encouraging others to follow their path.
