Lori Gutzmann – Brandon, VT
My name is Lori Gutzmann from Vermont. I have been married since 1992 to Chip, love of my life. Together we have raised 3 sons whom are wonderful young men. MS became a part of our lives in march of 2005 when I was officially diagnosed with it. My husband has had his battles with 5 different back surgeries for the past 9 years. So together we stand together we fall.
So I am an artist at heart with no actual training. I enjoy it so much and have found drawing an image more rewarding than painting one as they haven’t been to my liking.
These 3 pictures are based primarily with the vermont maple sugaring with which my husband and I enjoy doing together. My sons help us too when necessary. We have been doing this for 8 years now. It is good exercise, rewarding and delicious.
In closing, I find visualising a positive end result has proven to be a reward on its own. I currently am committed to the MS research where I travel to Burlington VT every 3 months, go through the MRI scans, blood work, breathing and eye tests and they in return give me MS trial meds /pill form. I do get paid for my 11/2 hour trip. I have found it to be rewarding and happy to offer my sevices.
